It didn't give itself radioactive properties. It didn't decide to decay at a certain time. Rather all of this is external to the material. &lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;Rationially only an unlimited being can create material from nothing, and impose the laws of nature upon it. Reality does very often behave in a causal way, but sometimes, it doesn't.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;Even in nature there are things that are not caused by anything. For example, decay of uranium and other radioactive materials is not caused by anything. Rather, it happens spontaneously.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;Natural uncaused events are possible, so, from this we can see that universe itself may have has a singe, natural, uncaused event at it's beginning. This event need not be a illimited "creator".&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;All this doesn't mean that God cannot exist, but rather, that is is very difficult to say anything about his existence. Logic alone is "garbage in garbage out". We need evidence to see if it holds up or not. &lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;However, as you note in your article, if God exists, then God should transcend this world, so no evidence is available. Hence, we are back at square one.
